There are times when we must wait on the Lord. These times can be much longer than we wish them to be. It is important to continue to trust that God will do what He said He will do. In the case of the birth of Christ, there were prophecies about a righteous ruler that would come to sit on the throne of David, whose kingdom would never end. People hung tightly to those prophetic words. But, it took years before the promise was fulfilled. As you wait on the Lord, be encouraged in your faith.
